“There is a proud history of military service in my family, including several members who served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including my paternal grandfather, his brother, my dad, his brother, their cousin, etc. As the family genealogist, I asked my father for a picture in his U.S. Marine Corps dress uniform. After much searching, he was only able to find this faded photograph which had some tears as well as glue or some other liquid spilled across the front. Having some experience with Adobe Photoshop, I knew restoration was possible, but this job was beyond my skill level to pull off. I contacted MemoryCherish, and uploaded a scanned copy of the photograph. They were able to restore the photograph to a condition I can only describe as “better than new” in less than 24 hours! I am very impressed with the quality of their work and am now hunting for other photographs they can work their magic on!” Randal A. Burd, Jr. Ironton, Missouri, USA |
